Half of those interested in the project JOHNS.HOME are families requiring an average living space of 123m3 and between 4 and 5 rooms.
Singles comprise 12% of those interested and the other 39% is comprised of couples looking for relatively spacious apartments, requiring an average of between 80 and 100 m².
97% of respondents wanted a balcony of between 7-8 m2 and a further 78% wanted somewhere to lock up bikes. A further 61% stated that a car parking facility was a necessity.
More than half of the respondents (57%), would prefer to have an open plan kitchen/living room, a quarter a separate kitchen and 19% were undecided. The majority would prefer to have their flat decorated in natural and earth tones, a quarter of the respondents would like contrasting colours and only very few would consider pastel tones.
Prospective buyers would be prepared to invest around 2,500 euro/m2 in their dream apartment.
